Well my friends, I have good news. I now have a piano. Yes indeed. I was informed that the First Southern Baptist Church (I believe that is the name), was trying to find a new home for one of their old pianos. I called the church and made arrangements to pick it up. And now we have a piano in our basement. For those of you who this might interest, it is a Schiller upright grand piano. Or that's what I think the name is. Anyway.... if you ever get the idea that a piano would look nice in your basement. Either cut a large hole in the side of your house, or else hire about 5 well trained professional wrestlers to come and carry it down the stairs. All the work of carrying it, however, is soon forgotten when you play on it. To my astonishment, when we got the piano home and set it in the right place, it was still tuned well enough that when i play up and down scales I can't tell that it's out of tune. I'm sure that many people could, but not I. Anyway, I think the simple fact that I took the time to post about it says enough about how much I like it. So with these thoughts in mind. Ta Ta -Jacob

Posted in Stuff that I should have posted several days ago, Today's events, Uncategorized on July 29, 2007 by JacobWell, I was going to post last night, but I was way too tired to bother
so I didn’t. Which means that I have to pack twice as much stuff into
the same amount of words. Ok, on Friday, I helped Johnathan Yoder pick
up garbage north of Hutchinson. Nothing extremely interesting happened
though. By the time I got home I was quite tired, but rather than take a
nap like I often do, mom told me to do some mowing. So when I was done
there, I showered and sat around for a few minutes then Mikey came over.
After I showed off my mad piano skills (or something like that) and
showed off the port a-poty truck, Mikey took me out for dinner (in
celebration of my birthday). As always Mikey allowed me to make the
choice of where we would eat. I chose Playa Zule (ok I have no idea how
to spell that). My reason for this choice was mainly ’cause I had never
been there and had thought it looked like an interesting place.
Anyway… We ate there. …Good food. …Except for the fingernail in
the salsa. Just kidding. Anyway then Mikey took me home and after that
I’m not sure what I did.
Ok, today… Well to start off with, the previous night I didn’t get and
extremely large amount of sleep, but that was fine because today was
Saturday so I could sleep in. …or so I thought. However, at 6:30 I was
woken up by dad. He wanted me to come out and help pick corn. So that
was how my day started. I did all sorts of things in the morning, then
at 12 I went to get my hair cut. My aunt Hope Kramer (Fair crest Salon)
cut my hair. …But barely. I really didn’t want my hair cut too short
so I told her not to take too much off. Anyway, my dad couldn’t tell
that i had gotten my hair cut, but that was ok with me. Anyway, so then
I sat around while my brothers got theirs cut and Emily got her hair
washed. Sigh… then finally we came home. Sigh sigh sigh. And a while
ago I packed my stuff to leave tomorrow. Sigh sigh. That about sums it up.

If someone would like to comment and correct me on the spelling of that
restaurant I would be most appreciative. Also, this is another rambling
post which I haven’t read over so sorry about the grammatical errors.

Posted in Uncategorized on February 6, 2007 by JacobWell, the Super Bowl is over. Sorry I don’t know which number is is
though. What really matters though is who won. So for all of you people
who were at CBS for the weekend or just haven’t stepped outside your
house or turned on the tv at all. The Colts defeated the Bears. I think
the score was 29 to 17. Not sure on that though. Umm one thing that was
interesting to me was that Tony Dungy, the head coach, was the first
African-American to win the Super Bowl. Anyway, so I’m glad for him. You
can probably tell that I’m not much of a football fan and don’t really
know much about the game. However, I would suggest that you go NFL.com
or if you want a more in depth report go to James’ blog.lol. Actually I
have no idea if he even posted about it.
Oh one other point of interest. There are currently two kids from the
India Children’s Choir staying at our house.
Umm oh one other thing that is worth posting about (mainly cause it
happens so infrequently). This is the second day in a row that I’ve
posted! I did seem to get some positive response about the thought of
posting again.
Anyway, I’m feeling quite like the opposite of a cold white snowball
right now. BTW that is another one of those jokes which most people
won’t catch onto. I’ve got “runny” nose. And because of that I have a
really sore nose. Grrrr this is why I told all of you people that we
should skip winter this year! But did you listen? No. And now everyone
is sick! Grrrrr.
In other news.. A massive nuclear explosion has damaged a 23′
underground gas line about a half mile from my house.
in other news.. Wait, no I guess I’ve been misinformed once again. I
guess it wasn’t a nuclear explosion, and it’s not 23′, but it was
something like that.
Well, it seems to me that this random string of words has become quite
lengthy.
On one other thing. My former teacher Will Schmucker had a kid.

S broke his ankle playing softball! and he wasn’t at school today. ummm sorry i’m back to my good ol’ style of writing:( but this keyboard is really mishtty. oops pardon my P.A. Dutch. oh i have good news for myself…. i just realized that i don’t have to give my oral report till thursday morning rather than wednsday morning as i thought. i would appreciate prayers for my oral report. i’m not sure what exactly i’m doing it on. it has to be something to do with zoanotic diseases though. oh another thing that will be comming up soon is the peace treaty pagent. our school is going. hmmmm.. … am i glad about this???? i’m not sure. really the thing is kinda boring but at least it’s better than school. !!!woah… … good greebee this is a long post(at least for one of my posts) soo i’d better go do homework. seeya sometime soon. and remember if you ever feel like life is harsh… … just think about my life than you will have good dreams and a happy life. …or not.

Jesse’s game
Posted in Uncategorized on September 17, 2006 by JacobI know that i’ve posted recently but i thought that i’d tell you about the game that i just got done playing. Umm it’s a game that Jesse Smith made. it’s an “andventure” type game but it’a a “paper and pen” version rather than a pc game. I won finally. With 150 points. I would have had 100 points, but i stole a can of food before i left the building.lol. anyway i really liked the game.

“I Can’t Remember”
Posted in Stuff that I should have posted several days ago, Today's events, Uncategorized on September 14, 2006 by JacobWell I’m finally spending the time to post again. WOW! Yes, I think that
I’m wasting my time, but this post is for mikey and other faithfull
readers. Um tomorrow is Thursday so that means that I have to turn in
all my paces. Fun, Fun… Um looking back on the week… It was good I
think. I havs some people to deal with (Mainly Shane. I was the only one
that was on “E” that had there goals done so, he asked me if I would
play basketball with him. So I did. And he kicked my butt. How unkind!
LOL.) Um we went to the fair monday night. There were some really cool
BMXers there. In fact Frieda thought that they were even a bit better
than her!!! I guess that’s one thing that we can agree on.LOL. Um that’s
all the interisting stuff that happened at the fair. Um today I was a
bit mad. We do “sight singing” stuff for Music I. I personally like
doing the stuff . Oh btw we all have to learn the “song” and then we
draw names to see who gets to sing it. Well the one today was a bit
harder, so I practiced it a bunch and used lots of my time doing it.
Well then I didn’t even get to do it.:(:( ( BTW Jared and I are in a
group together (Most of the groups are of two people, but some have
three.)) Anyway so that’s what made me mad today.lol. Well People I’m
really looking foward to to hearing “The Unamimous Somebodys” on Friday
night. I’m also looking foward to several “dark roasts with tripple
espressos”. Anyway, I think that’s about enough random thougths. Bye for
now.
